Current process description
This course covers the fundamentals of PC hardware and software, as well as mobile devices, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, basic networking, security, and concepts of virtualization and cloud computing. It prepares students for technical support roles and is aligned with the CompTIA A+ certifications.
Objectives
Upon completing the course, the student will be able to:
- Assemble, maintain, and diagnose PC and mobile hardware
- Install and manage operating systems and drivers
- Configure basic networks and troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Manage printers and peripheral devices
- Understand virtualization and basic cloud concepts, and apply security best practices
- Perform professionally in technical support roles, documenting and communicating issues effectively
Prerequisites
No prior knowledge is required, but it is highly recommended that the candidate have:
