Current process description
The Labor Technician in Networking and Telecommunications trains professionals to design, install, configure, and support data networks following international standards, integrating knowledge of telecommunications, structured cabling, network administration, basic security, and infrastructure services with a strong focus on Cisco technologies. Through a practical and progressive learning approach, students develop skills in routing, switching, IP addressing, wireless networks, and network management, preparing them for job placement in the IT sector and for achieving the CCNA international certification.
Objectives
-Train competent technicians in the design, installation, configuration, and support of data networks according to international standards. -Develop the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot network infrastructure failures using professional techniques and tools. -Strengthen knowledge in telecommunications, structured cabling, and network resource management. -Prepare students for the implementation of switching and routing solutions with Cisco technology. -Introduce basic security practices in networks and IT service management with a focus on ITIL. -Promote critical thinking, professional ethics, and the ability to work in teams in corporate environments.
Prerequisites
- Photocopy of high school diploma or transcript, or, failing that, ninth grade certificate. - Photocopy of citizenship card or identity card (if the person to be enrolled is a minor, the guardian's card is required and this person must accompany the minor during enrollment). - Photocopy of EPS or SISBEN card or certification - Two 3×4 photos with a white background.
